For 10 years, marketing costs in the MICE sector have continued to increase while they have decreased in all other travel segments. "I've always wondered why no one has solved this problem. That's why we decided to create Youna," said Alex Philippot, CEO and co-founder of the startup. Our ambition is to connect all stakeholders in the events industry in real-time. Thanks to our APIs, we will be able to quickly expand our offerings and provide innovative services to our customers and partners.
With the Covid-19 health crisis, the events industry has suffered, and providers need to quickly restart their activities. "With Youna, our partners will be able to benefit from better visibility, a simplified marketing process, and instant payment," adds Hana Park, COO, and co-founder of Youna.
According to our estimates, the simple events segment generated 17 billion in business volume in France in 2019. Today, 99% of transactions are still manual. "Instant booking will allow our partners to save considerable time while reducing their marketing costs," adds Alex Philippot. The startup aims to list 30,000 services in 45 destinations. Since January, Youna has listed 972 services in 26 destinations. The startup counts among its partners historical players in the sector such as Hilton, Hyatt, Fraser, Appart'city, as well as independent hotels, venues, and activity producers. "At this rate, we will exceed 3,000 services before the summer," adds Hana Park, COO, and co-founder of Youna.
